This page provides to you a means to request an interpretation of ANSI/MSE 2000-2008. GTEEMC is the American National Standards Institute's (ANSI) sanctioned body to develop the management system for energy standard ANSI/MSE 2000-2008. The standard has been carefully negotiated over a period of years, with language carefully chosen to reflect delicate compromises and flexibility in their use and application.
Recognizing that questions of intent may arise from time to time in various settings, GTEEMC has established a formal process to respond to questions regarding clarification of the ANSI/MSE 2000-2008 standard.  Questions should be posed in a question format, as specific as possible, and preferably, in a style to facilitate a concise answer. Please include any details of the specific situtation or issue, along with the specific section reference(s). 
 
Questions that are not clear will be returned to the submitter for clarification.
 

The Requester must complete the GTEEMC Interpretations form or on-line request.   

Responses will be developed based on consensus understanding of the intent of the standard by the GTEEMC Interpretations Committee and the GTEEMC Standards Development Organization, group members who drafted the standard.

Final interpretations will be provided to the Requestor and will be posted on this website.

There are several options for making your request including:
1.            On-line

2.            Email

3.            Mail

 
Online Option: To make a request on-line simply comment on the Dashboard located on this page.
This requires that you are a registered user of this web site; otherwise you will not see the Dashboard.
In order to register on this site, click Register which is located at the top right of the page and complete the registration form. The information on the registration form is not shared with any other organization. It is collected to provide the necessary records for standards development organization accreditation purposes only. If you are already a registered user simply click log-in and comment in the dashboard called interpretation request. 
 
Email Option: You download the interpretation request form and then complete it. After you have completed the request form you email it to energy@innovate.gatech.edu. The committee will respond to you within 30 business days.
 
 
Mail Option: 
You download the interpretations request form and then complete it. After you have completed the form you mail it to:
